Presentations

For PTSAs, schools, sports teams, boy/girl scout troops, companies - any group you can think of. We offer presentations on various parts of the college application process to help students and families.

Presentation Topics

  • In this presentation, we cover the 5 piece of an application and how students can be working on each piece now. We also discuss the timeline of the admissions process, whether the group is current juniors, freshmen, or a mix. We also review the types of colleges and cost.

  • In this presentation, we discuss how to explore interests and majors, as well as what paths students may need to consider for certain majors (direct admit vs. undeclared). We also discuss the importance of certain activities, such as internships.

  • In this presentation, we discuss how to research colleges, what to consider when touring colleges, why rankings don’t mean anything, and how to evaluate college “fit”.

  • If it’s within our area of expertise, we are happy to customize a presentation to best fit your group’s needs. Please reach out explaining what your group might be looking for and we can go from there.

  • "Jensen truly excelled as a presenter, skillfully organizing the intricacies of college applications into easily digestible categories. Her captivating delivery style made navigating the daunting process feel manageable."

  • "Jensen did a thorough job articulating the ins and outs of college applications for highschoolers. She thoroughly described each step with excellent examples of how to fill out everything from resumes, to the important recommendation letters, and of course, the essays. I appreciate her knowledge and will use all of this to proceed with my daughter’s college application."

  • "As the parent of a junior who seems blissfully and stubbornly ignorant of the college application process, I found Jensen's presentation both helpful in practical knowledge and reassuring that there are things we can do to prepare for applications in the fall. This was not just an advertising spiel pretending to be a parent education lecture."
